What beautiful old gravestones. The one has an anchor on it. How interesting. Was a sailor maybe?

William H. Hanna died after being struck by lightning while at home, in bed, with his wife next to him! There is a Bloomington Pantagraph article about this bizarre occurrence. His wife was momentarily knocked senseless and then came to just before her husband died, according to the newspaper account.
His wife was a daughter of Dr. George W. Stipp, whose obelisk tombstone is also pictured on your site.
